Covered Wagon made with Tumbling Tower Blocks

Covered Wagon made with Tumbling Tower Blocks

The covered wagon that I started on my LIVE on YouTube on March 24, 2023.

We left off on the live with the base of the wagon made using the tumbling tower blocks and the frame for the covering.

You will need 6 rows of 5 of tumbling tower blocks for the bottom. Staggering my blocks but you don’t have to. For the sides you will need 3 rows of 5 tumbling tower blocks, staggering the blocks if you wish.

Flexible plastic tubing for the “ribs” for the covering. Drilling holes into the blocks to insert the tubing. Check out video to see how to do that.

Paint the wagon before adding the covering. For the covering, just lay some fabric over the “ribs” and cut out the fabric to fit. Then fold and glue down the ends to get a nice finished edge. Now using pastels and distress the covering. Distress as much as you desire.

Now hot glue the covering to the blocks. Cut a couple of pieces of wood the length of the wagon by 3/8” and cover the edge of the fabric.

Paint the wheels black to make them look like iron wheels.

You can use this cute little wagon to store items, outgoing/incoming mail, or use it to hold your balls of yarn while crocheting. The sky is the limit on how you can use this rustic home décor.
